Over the course of 12 days, you will have the rare opportunity to spend time with our acclaimed dance teachers, Principal dancers and artists from around the world who are not only skilled professionals, but also passionate and kind-hearted individuals. They have dedicated their lives to the art of ballet, gracing the most exquisite theatres around the world with their unforgettable performances.

At our Masterclasses, we take great pride in the caliber of our teaching staff. Our instructors are not simply ballet teachers, but rather experts in their field, holding MASTER'S DEGREES IN DANCE PEDAGOGY. This level of qualification ensures that our students receive exceptional training and guidance to help them reach their full potential in the world of dance.

Prepare for an unforgettable evening as world-class dancers from prestigious European companies, including Tokyo city Ballet, Staatsballet Berlin, Bayerisches Staatsbalet, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and many others come together under one roof. The gala will showcase a selection of Jiří Bubeníček's latest choreographies, bringing together the artistry and elegance of renowned international performers.  

As a special highlight, participants of the Bubeníček Ballet Masterclasses will have the extraordinary opportunity to share the stage with these exceptional talents, making the evening even more inspiring.

Bubeníček International Ballet Gala 2024 – A Stellar Celebration of Dance

Last August, the Bubeníček International Ballet Gala lit up Prague with an unforgettable evening of breathtaking performances. Held at the stunning Vinohrady Theatre, the gala featured over 22 acclaimed dancers from prestigious European stages, including Milan's Teatro alla Scala and Dresden's Semperoper, performing Jiří Bubeníček's renowned choreographies alongside other masterpieces.  

The carefully curated program included highlights from "Má vlast", an original choreographic cycle inspired by Smetana's symphonic poems, and the premiere of a new duet created by Bubeníček, inspired by the works of Czech sculptor Josef Václav Myslbek. The evening also included live music, with performances by violinist Marie Hasoňová and pianist Slávka Vernerová Pechocová, adding an extra layer of artistry to the event and other choreographies.

For Bubeníček, the gala was not only a showcase of world-class ballet but also a personal milestone, celebrating his 50th birthday. Audiences were captivated by the talent, artistry, and passion displayed on stage, cementing the event as a highlight of the cultural calendar in Prague.
