PRAGUE will be the place of our BUBENÍČEK BALLET MASTERCLASSES 2025, offering participants the chance to train in a city rich in history, culture, and artistic inspiration. Known as the "City of a Hundred Spires," Prague’s stunning architecture, from Gothic to Art Nouveau. With its vibrant cultural scene and historic charm, the city is the perfect setting to celebrate the art of ballet and nurture the next generation of talent.
Over the course of 12 days, you will have the rare opportunity to spend time with our acclaimed dance teachers, Principal dancers and artists from around the world who are not only skilled professionals, but also passionate and kind-hearted individuals. They have dedicated their lives to the art of ballet, gracing the most exquisite theatres around the world with their unforgettable performances.
At our Masterclasses, we take great pride in the caliber of our teaching staff. Our instructors are not simply ballet teachers, but rather experts in their field, holding MASTER'S DEGREES IN DANCE PEDAGOGY. This level of qualification ensures that our students receive exceptional training and guidance to help them reach their full potential in the world of dance.

The Masterclasses will culminate in a joint performance featuring the Italian contemporary company YoY Performing Arts, live musicians, visual artists — including a sculptor, a painter, and others — together with the Masterclass participants, all presented in a beautiful Prague gallery space (exact location TBA soon).
As part of this year’s Bubeníček Ballet Masterclasses, students will have the unique opportunity to perform. Not only will they train in the studio, they will also prepare for a performance alongside exceptional artists from both contemporary and classical ballet backgrounds.
Under the guidance of renowned choreographer Jiří Bubeníček, contemporary dance teacher Nikos Kalivas, and other distinguished mentors, the Masterclass students will collaborate on the creation of a brand-new choreography. They will also showcase the results of their training — from solo variations to group pieces — all coming together in one unforgettable performance.

Whether you danced years ago or you are stepping up to the barre for the very first time, you’ll find a safe, friendly, and inspiring space to enjoy movement, elegance, and the joy of ballet.
The classes are led by experienced teachers trained in Jiří Bubeníček’s method, focusing on natural movement, healthy posture, and musicality. The lessons are open to all levels — complete beginners as well as those returning to ballet.
